Dr. Judy Todd will be presenting on the treatment and results of NeckTite and FaceTite, a revolutionary treatment to tighten lax skin and dramatically improve a sagging neck or double chin, offering an real alternative to a surgical face and neck lift with exceptional results.
FaceTite uses radio frequency (heat) energy to tighten loose, baggy skin and remove excess fat. The heat in turn causes a reaction that tightens skin by up to 40%. When this technology is also used on the neck, it defines the jawline and lifts the jowls.
FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure which is performed under local anaesthetic. Once the anaesthetic has taken effect, the FaceTite probe is inserted under the skin through small incisions. This heat causes the skin to contract immediately, with more contractions occurring over the next six to eighteen months. The result is a lifting of the face by shrinking and tightening the skin. This heat energy also kills some of the fat cells. As part of the procedure, some gentle aspiration of excess fat (liposuction) on the neck and jowls can also be performed to give maximal jaw definition.
